Annie Santulli Designs transformed a spacious Palm Beach residence into a gallery-caliber home where art, architecture, and luxury coexist with effortless harmony. The redesign was guided by the clients’ extensive, deeply personal art collection, which served as the foundation for every spatial, material, and lighting decision.
The living room is anchored by a commanding 14-foot oil on linen by Brian Rutenberg—Meadow—which sets the bold chromatic tone for the surrounding interiors. To elevate the collection without overpowering it, white walls, a low-profile white sofa, lucite side tables, and a white area rug allow the art to be the focus. Furniture selections throughout the home follow a sculptural aesthetic, creating a cohesive visual rhythm while allowing each artwork to live. A custom, hand-painted credenza sourced from Italy anchors the family room, blending Old World craftsmanship with contemporary elegance.
In the kitchen, artistry continues both in craft and form. A custom hand-blown glass pendant from Czech lighting studio Bomma—nearly three feet tall from their Tim Collection—creates a dramatic focal point, resembling an oversized droplet of light suspended above the table. The kitchen itself, entirely reimagined, features quartzite countertops and backsplash, high-gloss white cabinetry, and illuminated glass display cabinets that showcase art and accessories that echo the clients’ broader collection. Lisa Jarvis’s custom hardware adds a layer of refined detail.
Additional architectural refinements include new glass banisters along the staircase and second-floor catwalk, enhancing sightlines and reinforcing the home’s airy, gallery-like feel. Many of the overhead fixtures are from Hammerton, selected for their sculptural clarity and the way they cast nuanced, gallery-quality illumination onto each piece. Textural layering brings warmth and depth to the design. Philip Jeffries wallcoverings introduce subtle dimension; custom window treatments frame views and soften the natural light; and luxurious bespoke bedding completes the private spaces with refined comfort.
Annie curated every detail with intention. The result is a home that showcases extraordinary art while standing as a work of art in its own right—an elegant, inviting, and beautifully balanced expression of Annie Santulli’s design sensibility.
